Shipping Within New Zealand
Xmas Delivery Dates - 2024
If you have placed an order to be delivered for Christmas, please see the below dates.
Business and residential zone addresses: last orders received by 20th December
Rural Zone addresses: last orders received by 19th December
Free delivery on orders over $120.00 (except Great Barrier Island & Waiheke Island).
For all orders under $120 we offer a $9.90 flat rate on all orders within New Zealand.
All New Zealand orders are dispatched from The Candle Shop in Wellington using New Zealand Couriers or Post Haste.
Delivery is made between 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (except public holidays when deliveries will resume on the next business day).
Deliveries to the North Island delivered within 3-5 business days after order is placed (excluding orders placed on weekends and public holidays).*
Deliveries to the South Island delivered within 3-7 business days after your order is placed (excluding orders placed on weekends or public holidays).*
If your delivery for Wellington City suburbs, we may be able to deliver on a specific date. Please contact us here
Some rural deliveries may take longer depending on the location.
Please note we do not deliver to parcel lockers or PO boxes.

Shipping to Australia and the Rest of the World.
We can ship our candles to Australia and the rest of the world. Please email your order to hello@thecandleshopnz.com and we can send a shipping quote and estimated time for delivery. Please also state whether you would like gift wrapping and message.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund or replacement within 30 days. The customer is responsible for return shipping and postage is not refundable. Processing of your replacement candle or refund can take between 3-7 days.
Returned goods must be in un-used condition to the contact address provided on this website. Please include packaging and order confirmation.
If you wish to return your purchase, please contact us and we will provide details on where to send your return.
Damaged Items
At The Candle Shop, we make every effort to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. However, if damage has occurred to the product(s) inside, please contact us and we will be more than happy to resolve any issues.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order, provided we have not yet dispatched it. We will refund the cost of your order to the credit card you purchased with.
Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
